THE MOST AGRESSIVE filtering systems on Internet have been imposed by authoritarian governments like those in Iran, China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Syria.
The Iranian government censors what citizens can read online. Iran using elaborate technology to block millions of Web sites offering news, commentary, videos, music and, until recently, Facebook and YouTube.

War against freedom of expression
Internet has become a stage for state control — and rebellion against it. Computers are becoming more crucial in global conflicts, not only in spying and military action, but also in determining what information reaches people around the globe. College students first discovered a key to by pass the censorship. The students spread this key through e-mail messages and file-sharing. By late autumn more than 400,000 Iranians were surfing the uncensored Web.

Girl, when I was in China in 2006 we used to bypass the government censorship. There are programs that open all the censored websites. Usually those programs are made by Chinese in the States, since the latter helps them a lot to act against their own government (as they do in all other countries).
:) i faced no pb in accessing any site from any places i was even KSA, China. The issue is zt no one can block accessing knowledge. Let them block and we'll keep fighting 2 break all z filters and firewalls set 2 decrease our prospeity. by z end, Lebanon is z most beautifull country in the universe not on earth only. Alla ykhalilna watana.
